Shalom and welcome to Team D Bible Study! The Bereshit/Genesis 6 trilogy is complete as Noah, his sons and their respective wives prepare to enter the ark. Not forgetting the animals with them, Elohim is about to take them all through the storm as the wickedness of man, against each other and the Eretz is at it’s full. The Elohim of creation is about to judge righteously and hit the reset button as his enemies plot against Him and eventually His Anointed One.

Institutions of Wickedness?
How much of an influence does science have in relation to our faith? Science has an overreaching influences as many practitioners of the field have prominence in today’s’ society. As was mentioned in the presentation, in relation to the ‘Everlasting Controvert’, what can cause this to happen? As Quoted from the prophet Yeshayahu(Isaiah):
(Isa 24:3-6 Brenton) 3The earth shall be completely laid waste, and the earth shall be utterly spoiled: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken these things. 4The earth mourns, and the world is ruined, the lofty ones of the earth are mourning. 5And she has sinned by reason of her inhabitants; because they have transgressed the law, and changed the ordinances, even the everlasting covenant. 6Therefore a curse shall consume the earth, because the inhabitants thereof have sinned: therefore the dwellers in the earth shall be poor, and few men shall be left. (Septuagint)
Team D is of the option that science, more so the branch of physics, can be the catalyst of this covenant being broken. As mentioned in the presentation, there are two scientific institutions, plus many others, on the cutting edge of research into physics. The first being CERN, which many people are familiar with. After all, they are responsible for the creation of the World Wide Web which has become an integral part of our modern society. Interesting, the acronym CERN is also associated to the god Cernunnos. Another institution ITER, Latin for “the way”, is building a machine which would create a sun on the earth. What affects can their experiments have is they get of of control? Anyone’s guess.
